Enjoy a full day of fun for the entire family! Each Festival includes complimentary face painting, art projects, live performances, and more!

This event is part of Bowers Museum's monthly Free Family Festival series, generously sponsored by the Nicholas Endowment.

Event Schedule:
11 am – 4 pm Free face painting, foil art and wood fan art projects, and a tasty tropical treat (as supplies last)

12 pm UPSTREAM music performance

Welcome to the Upstream experience as they spread the message of love and positivity through the exciting musical sounds of the Caribbean, namely, Reggae, Soca, and Calypso. The band was formed in the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago in 1989 by Haille Blackman, son of the legendary Ras Shorty І, the creator of Soca music.

 

1 pm Intermission - Santa Ana residents enjoy free admission to the Museum!

 

1:30pm Caribbean Joy will wow the audience with their vibrant costumes and unique high energy dances.

 

2 pm UPSTREAM music performance: get up and dance, dance, dance!
