Fishers in the Forest: The Pacific Fishers in Sequoia and Kings Canyon
SATURDAY | NOVEMBER 28 | 10:30 AM–12 PM
JOHN M. LEE COURT | STORYTIME
Join author Gisa Nico for a special reading of Fishers in the Forest: The Pacific Fishers in Sequoia and Kings Canyon, a heartwarming story of a young girl’s journey through California’s snowy forests in search of the elusive Pacific fisher. Along the way, she learns how wildlife biologists study and protect these rare animals and why preserving their forest habitat is so important.
Held every last Saturday of the month, Storytime in the Galleries includes free copies of each author’s featured book (while supplies last) and free general admission to the museum. Readings will be followed by a simple, fun art project that kids will love.
This program is made possible through a generous donation from Capital Group.
