The Museum follows industry standards for information security. All credit card information submitted to the Museum will be encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, so it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.
The Museum engages third-party payment processors to handle all transactions conducted on our website and at Museum facilities. These third parties have represented to the Museum that they comply with current PCI (Payment Card Industry) data security standards and use security features including encryption and tokenization designed to prevent the unauthorized release of your personal financial data. All credit card information is tokenized and held on third-party sites, not on Museum servers.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. These measures include:

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Children Under 13: Our website is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we will not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 without the express consent of that child's parent or legal guardian. If the Museum receives an email from a child under the age of 13, the Museum may respond to the email, but will not retain the child's information for any purposes without the consent of the child's parent or legal guardian. If participants in youth programs age out of such programs, the Museum may contact the participant to ask if they would like to opt-in to the Museum's general mailing lists.
