Join us on opening day of our newest exhibition, Global Threads: India’s Textile Revolution.

Join Global Threads guest curator Dr. Sarah Fee to delve deeper into objects and stories featured in the exhibition, from early natural dyes and the Industrial Revolution to contemporary artists and fashion designers who are revitalizing this ancient South Asian textile art.

Take a nostalgic walk down memory lane with music and more presented by Larry Maurer, historian of the Timeless Melodies Foundation for Education, Inc.

Held every last Saturday of the month, Storytime in the Galleries includes free copies of each author’s featured book for the first 35 to RSVP and free General Admission to the galleries for the first 35 participants to arrive at each event. Reading in the galleries will be followed by a simple, fun art project that kids will love.
