Indigenous Music and Instruments of South America with Ethnomusicologist Jim Berenholtz

Drawing on his collection from both the Andes and the Amazon, Jim will perform on instruments that he has gathered directly over nearly four decades of travel in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Brazil. He will demonstrate a wide variety of flutes, panpipes, ocarinas, trumpets, rattles, drums, and other percussion instruments that are unique to the southern continent.
