In celebration of Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month, join guest author Michael Smith for a special reading of his book Earthwaves, which reveals the fascinating and little-known culture of the Pacific Islander seafarers, whose wayfinding techniques began thousands of years ago.

Held every last Saturday of the month, Storytime in the Galleries includes free copies of each author’s book for the first 35 to RSVP and free General Admission to the galleries for the first 35 participants to arrive at each event. Reading in the galleries will be followed by a simple, fun art project that kids will love.

Ticketed Event: Free for Members or with General Admission: Free for children under 12; $15 General, $12 Students/Seniors.
