Just in time for Halloween - join A Night at the Movies’ Theo Siegel for a bone-chilling screening of the 1963 thriller masterpiece, The Birds, Alfred Hitchcock’s follow-up to Psycho. Based on the novella by Daphne du Maurier, the film and short story were inspired by the true events of a mass bird attack on the seaside town of Capitola in California on August 18, 1961. Before the film begins, learn more fun facts about The Birds as Siegel leads a discussion about the making of the film including its script, casting, production, reception, and legacy.
